From the comfort of the property, you’ll have a front-row seat to Windham Mountain’s spectacular fireworks, which usually happen on July 4th, New Year’s Eve, and Presidents’ Day weekend. Gather with family and friends, cozy up, and enjoy the show without ever leaving home.

Wanderwood Lodge features nine spacious bedrooms designed for comfort, privacy, and restful nights. Six bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds, making them ideal for couples or solo travelers seeking a plush retreat. One bedroom offers a queen, and two more are set up with bunk beds, perfect for children or groups. Each room reflects the home's rustic mountain charm with wood accents, cozy bedding, and ample natural light. Bedrooms are spread across multiple levels to accommodate larger parties while still allowing for privacy and quiet. All are located within easy access to the home’s seven full bathrooms, ensuring convenience for guests. Deck :

Step out onto the expansive deck and take in sweeping mountain views just beyond the treetops. Accessible directly from the main living area, this outdoor space offers a peaceful setting to enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Surrounded by rustic wood railings and overlooking Windham Mountain, the deck provides a front-row seat to every season, lush greenery in summer, fiery foliage in fall, and snow-covered slopes in winter. The only way to access Wanderwood Lodge is by car, and we highly recommend using a 4WD or AWD vehicle, especially during the winter months when snow and ice are common in the Catskills. The property offers ample on-site parking, making it easy for multiple vehicles to park safely.

Once you're here, everything from Windham Mountain Resort to local shops, restaurants, and hiking trails is just a short drive away, making it easy to explore the best of the Catskills at your own pace.

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out can occasionally be accommodated, message us to ask. A 20-minute grace period applies to check-out; unscheduled late departures incur a $150 fee.

Sleeps up to 20 guests, including children and infants. Please book accurately; unauthorized guests may result in cancellation without refund.

Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM out of respect for our neighbors and the peaceful mountain setting.

Smoke-free home, smoking is strictly prohibited indoors, on the decks, and anywhere on the property. Evidence of smoking inside incurs a $550 cleaning fee and forfeiture of any security deposit.

Pets: One dog under 50 lb is welcome upon request. Please add your dog to the reservation at the time of booking; an additional pet fee applies. Dogs are not permitted on beds.

Wildlife: This is the Catskills, bears, deer, and other wildlife pass through. Please never leave food, trash, or grills out overnight, and keep all food stored inside.

Cell service works well at the property, but we recommend connecting to the Wi-Fi and enabling Wi-Fi calling for best reliability.

Nearest groceries: Downtown Windham (5 minutes) for everyday essentials and local cafés; Hannaford in Tannersville (20 minutes) for a larger run.

EV charging: Due to fire safety concerns, electric vehicle charging is not permitted on the property.

Local guests: If you reside in the area, please message us before booking. Third-party bookings are not accepted, the booking guest must be staying at the property.
